This beautiful property comfortably sleeps up to 8 people. There is another bedroom called the Cabin which can be used during the holidays, taking it up to 8 adults and 2 children.

We hope that it has everything you need for a relaxed holiday: a large open plan living area with seating around the wood burner, a dining section and large kitchen. Next door there is a second reception room with comfortable sofas, board games, puzzles and cards. There is a study for anyone wanting to work from home, a conservatory, an enclosed garden, parking for 5 cars and a bike rack. For an extra charge you can even have a hot tub for the week.

Whether you're planning a family holiday, a getaway with friends, or a romantic retreat, this holiday home offers all the amenities necessary to ensure you have a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. It is large, but also cosy, so if you are coming with fewer people, you won’t feel like you are rattling around.

There is an open plan kitchen which leads into the dining area on one side and the sitting room on the other.

This is the hub of the house, there are windows all around so it feels bright and cheerful, even when it’s a bit grey outside.

The south facing sitting area looks out over the lovely garden and has a large wood burner for those chilly days.

The colourful and comfortable piano room has a large television and lots of games, puzzles and cards. There is also a box of wooden train track for our younger visitors. We find it really useful having a second reception room.

Behind the house there is an enclosed garden which is ideal for relaxing and unwinding. Whether you're looking to eat outside, soak up the sun on the terrace or add a hot tub to your stay, this garden has something for everyone. Children will love playing hopscotch or croquet and running around in the spacious garden, while adults can enjoy a peaceful moment enjoying the large west facing terrace.

The Bedrooms

All of our bedrooms are on the first floor.

With windows on both sides and a stunning integrated bathroom, the master bedroom has definite star appeal. Lie back in the super king bed and enjoy being on holiday. Just in case you do not want to use the large study downstairs, there is a small desk on the mezzanine level. (Please note that the steps to the mezzanine are very steep so not suitable for children or anyone without good balance).

The second double bedroom has another super king bed with an ensuite shower room. It has dual aspect windows and pretty chintz curtains with views over the village.

Overlooking the south facing walled garden, this room is very pretty especially in the morning when sun streams in through the Velux window. All the windows have blackout blinds, so if you prefer to kip a little longer the sun won’t wake you up.

Smaller, but very charming and cosy with a great view down to the Green.

This is the cabin room which is only available during the school holidays. It used to be my mother’s linen cupboard and is only suitable for children. The beds are a normal length, but thinner than usual. Children seem to love it, whether this is because of the large stack of Beanos or the feeling you are on a ship, I do not know.
